Separate an installation from a repair
A new rod or furniture item is a product-led request; a rubbing door starts with a symptom. Number the tasks and identify which need a new item installed, an existing component adjusted or a finish corrected. Record supplied parts and undecided products. Agree the finish and household arrangements For drywall or trim, distinguish repair preparation from agreed paint touch-up and identify unresolved causes first. An invisible finish match is not guaranteed. Mention furniture, fragile belongings and occupied-room access, including whether other work affects readiness. Use safe observations or existing photos; do not cut, dismantle or force a component to explain the problem.
